My blog - will contain all forms of art, including, drawings, photography, sketches, and paintings. It will follow my development in art as well as Danish.
This means that for now you will see both English and Danish comments and write-ups in my blog, and perhaps just Danish by the end of the year.
The style will also change with time as I experiment with layout, accessories, etc.
Fasten your seatbelts and hold on to your hats. Hope you enjoy the ride as much as I know I will.

Sammensatte og levende billeder

A self-made advertisement.
For our practice assignment we were given 3 pictures, 2 sound files and 60 seconds of air time. We chose a picture and a sound file to use in our film. After brainstorming and planning the idea for our film we made a story board. We filmed and then edited our film in Windows Live Movie Maker. The result was an advertisement for face cream.

An advertisement for help with homework:
For the next video we were given 7 film clips from which we had to choose 3. We also had to film one scene ourselves that went in the middle of the film. The film was an advertisement for on-line homework help and giving bad excuses.

We chose to make our part a shadow - in order to do something different and not have to show our faces. I was the shadow and my classmate spoke and filmed while I acted.

Lommefilm - developed from an article.
We had 3 hours to make a one minute film based on a news article. We read a few articles and decided to use an article about X Factor the week before.

Paraphrase: from picture and sound to film
We were given a picture of 2 people wearing a mask and playing with puppets, a sound file, and the title "Let's Play". We had to make a "lommefilm" of not more than 1 minute. We brain stormed possible themes that we thought illustrated the picture we had to paraphrase. We decided to work with "societies influence on our minds".
We took pictures and video clips from the internet and filmed our own footage. We edited it in Movie Maker Live and added various effects to create a connection between all our clips.

I made a lesson plan for students in 5th grade with the subject of Identity and staged pictures. I chose to make an Stop Motion clay animation film as a sample of what the students would be working with. The theme was Heroes and Idols.

We made a Stop Motion claymation film about 2 characters in a picture that come alive. It was a challenge to move the figures slowly enough to make the movement look smooth. I tried using various camera angles to make the film more interesting.

I made a video log book about my process, thoughts, and feelings I had while working with the topic.

My video log book

We made a short film on German stereotypes when we we going to work with some Erasmus students in visual arts.
